About the artwork
It seems to be a fascinating fusion of forms and perspectives. It is an abstract, surreal photograph that undergoes a profound transformation through the use of artificial reflectors. The three-dimensional space is reduced to a two-dimensional plane, as if the depth were dissolving into a flat, almost graphic structure.
The colour palette remains deliberately restrained and subtle, almost entirely in shades of grey. The grey within grey reinforces the emotional density and leaves room for interpretation. It conveys a certain melancholy and at the same time a cool clarity. The reflections create a kind of distorted reality in which the contours and shapes flow into one another and unite to form an almost dreamlike, surreal universe.
