I made this work as part of my collection entitled 'liminality'. A (I think) beautiful word that stands for a period when you are no longer who you once were, but also not quite who you will become. Basically always so;)
I made this (almost) black-and-white work in my search for identity, fascinated by how it keeps changing in relation to environment, context and history.
For this work, I transformed my research on the subject of liminality into poetic texts and entered into a dialogue with AI on the subject. I then combined, mixed and edited the parts digitally to create the final representation of this image.
