'Being' arose in my search for identity and how it keeps changing in relation to environment, context and history.
For me, it illustrates the fluidity of identity and how it is constantly influenced by and adapts to external factors.
I made this work as part of my collection titled 'liminality'. A (I think) wonderful word that stands for a period when you are no longer who you once were, but also not quite who you will become. Basically always so;)
For this work, I converted my research on the subject of liminality into poetic texts and entered into a conversation with AI about it. Then I combined, mixed and edited the parts digitally until the image emerged that I wanted to make: Being.
