The Waag Leiden, on a winter morning during the blue hour. The combination of the blue sky outside with the warm lamplight creates a cosy atmosphere. Because it is almost windless, the building can also be seen as a reflection in the Rhine. A long shutter speed was chosen for the photo to ensure that the water of the Rhine is completely smooth, and not even the small ripples of the wind, or the twigs and leaves in the water can be seen. The photo also shows a moment in time in the cityscape of Leiden. The old V and D is already named Hudson's Bay, which is also not in the building any more.
