The water is gone, the wind has subsided and the sun is about to set. All you can hear on the Wadden Sea are the birds searching for their evening meal some distance away on the tide line. It is one of the most soothing moments you can experience: high and dry on the Wadden Sea floor, as if you are alone in the world and nothing else matters.
