Zen moment on the Biarritz coast
One of those moments when the sea calms down for a moment and time seems to stand still. These rocks have been here for so long, surrounded every day by the washing water. The long shutter speed gives the water that soft, aura - so different from the wild waves Biarritz is normally known for.
The light was beautiful that evening. The clouds just broke open and let through some of that warm glow, while the blue hues of dusk were already dominating. Perfect time to put the camera on the tripods and wait for the right moment.
This is what I love about this coast - ferocious surf one moment, this peaceful stillness the next. The Basque coast at its most beautiful.
