During my tour of Kyrgyzstan, we also stayed 2 nights in yurts on the edge of Lake Son Kul.
I took this photo from the edge of the lake, so I got the Song Kul plateau in it nicely as a background behind the yurts.
The nights there were very basic, sleeping on a hard wooden bed, temperature 's close to freezing point at night, 2 small cubicles of 1 square metre served as toilets, no shower but a washbasin with only cold water.
But very nice to experience.
And then the surroundings there, really beautiful.
I made lovely walks there.
