About "Wren on green moss"

About the artwork

Who doesn't like the Wren.
It is always an experience to observe them because they are so small and prefer to hide in the low bushes.
But when one does take the time to show itself in all its glory, it is a treat, especially when the sunlight hits the bird so brightly.
I cherish this blanket and it is also present in print in my home.

By the way, the scientific name of this bird is the fabulous Troglodytes Troglodytes :-)
And that actually means as much as 'caveman' and refers to the spherical nest it makes.

The wren prefers to live low in the vegetation or even close to the ground. Only to sing does he put himself well visibly higher than 2m. You will usually hear it first and only then see it. Although small in stature (10 cm, tail included), the wren is great at singing. Especially then in the decibels it produces. It produces up to 90 decibels, comparable to a pop concert. This is an amazing feat for such a small bird. The wren sings all year round and always loudly: to defend its territory or to impress a female. If it is excited - in case of danger - its alarm call sounds: a repetitive loud "chick" or "tjerrr". Like an alarm clock, it alerts the other birds in the neighbourhood.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
