About the artwork

Particularly colourful zoomed-in image of container storage.
I saw this image while cycling through the gigantic port of Antwerp.
This image immediately appealed to me because it both depicts the activities in the port but at the same time provides a nice grafsch image.
This work will look very nice in your home and, of course, in your port-related business.

Have you ever wondered how toys, televisions, clothes, food and computers find their way into your living room? Containers are a well-known and convenient way to transport similar products. In fact, Port of Antwerp-Bruges is the second largest container port.

Port of Antwerp-Bruges smoothly receives 'the world's largest container ships. With a good draught and clever use of tides, the port is accessible to vessels up to 23 000 Twenty-foot Equivalent Unit (TEU).

TEU is a standard size and means there is storage space on a container ship for 23 000 20-foot sea containers. The fixed size of the containers has a big advantage. As a result, the containers fit on ocean-going vessels, trucks, barges and rail cars.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
