Cane Malu is a small, charming town in the province of Oristano in Sardinia, located on the west coast of the island. The town is known for its beautiful beaches, such as Spiaggia di Cane Malu and Spiaggia di Bosa Marina, both of which are perfect for a day of sunbathing and swimming. The beaches are surrounded by volcanic rock, from the ancient volcanoes that were active in Sardinia centuries ago. This volcanic rock gives the beaches a unique character and a beautiful contrast to the clear blue waters of the sea. Cane Malu is also a great place for hiking, with many beautiful footpaths running along the coast and offering beautiful views of the sea and surrounding mountains. Here, you can also admire the volcanic rock that forms the mountains. Another popular activity in Cane Malu is fishing, especially catching tuna, sardines and other types of fish. There are many fishing boats that leave from the town's harbour for day trips. The town also has a beautiful historic centre, with narrow streets, old buildings and a beautiful cathedral. Moreover, Bosa, a historic city located on the banks of the Temo River, is just a short drive away from Cane Malu. Bosa is known for its beautiful old centre with colourful houses and a magnificent castle.
