I took this photo on the Ermelosche Heide on the Veluwe. I chose it for a view over the heathland which was in purple bloom at the time of taking. You can also see the Ermelo sheep flock grazing on the heath in the distance. For this photo I have chosen to do it in widescreen(16:9). In the picture you can even see 4 burial mounds. The landscape you see in the photo has been like this for decades, I don't know better than there is a heathland here. It is however a characteristic landscape that you see especially on the Veluwe.
