About ‘The purple forest’ by Marjan van der Heijden

The Hallerbos in Belgium turns purple for several weeks in spring because of the wood hyacinths. A beautiful spectacle that you can capture in various ways. In this photo I applied icm, i.e. moving the camera up and down with a slower shutter speed.
It gives a different atmosphere. The purple of the hyacinths becomes a soft blanket…
