Noir Flohay on the High Fens in Belgium is a famous attraction. The dead trees demand attention in the grand peat landscape. This time they are in the mist which creates a special atmosphere. I only saw the trees when I was close to them. Suddenly they loomed in the mist.
The reclining trees guide your view. The back trees give depth to the picture and show how foggy it was.
Almost no colour, no people, no animals, a silence that is deafening. Wonderful to hang on the wall and let the calm enter your living room.
The picture was taken by hand with professional equipment. Through boardwalks you get to your destination, an experience in itself, especially if there is snow. Passing people is tricky, but of course a beauty picture is what you have a lot of.
I chose the 16:9 format because it enhances the width of the image.
