About the artwork

Something feels missing in this frame—and that’s what gives it its weight. The clothes hang in perfect alignment, still slightly curved from the shape of hands that are no longer there. The midday sun casts soft highlights across the bright fabric, drawing attention to what remains: an echo of activity, a whisper of presence.

Without the woman, the scene turns quieter. You’re no longer witnessing a moment in progress, but the aftermath of one. It’s still deeply human—those clothes didn’t hang themselves—but now it’s about absence, not action.

The tension between motion and stillness is striking. It feels like someone just stepped away, and you caught the scene mid-pause. There’s warmth here, but also solitude. That empty space in the middle speaks louder than anything else. It’s about the moments after—after the task, after the noise, when all that’s left is light, texture, and silence.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
