A flower of a hydrangea in a bottle.
In the fall, hydrangea flowers turn to beautiful warm hues. Every year I cut off a few and let them dry and then put them in a vase or bottle in the living room. This way we can enjoy these beautiful large flowers even longer.
For this photo I put a flower in a bottle. The bottle is made of white frosted glass which gives it a nice soft sheen. On the subject of this photo I projected orange light as if the sun was shining on it. This creates a warm autumn glow. In the background there is a stripe of blue light which gives a special effect to this photo.
I kept the photo quite dark to create a warm and homely effect.
With multiple exposure I have mixed two photos: one of the bottle in focus and one blurred for an artistic effect. As if they were two bottles!
The result is a warm and rural atmosphere, especially with the dark background added.
A beautiful calming photo!

I find my sources of inspiration in everything around me...
