Steampunk Maine Coon, Guardian of Mechanical Time by Robert Jan Smit

Tucked away amongst hissing steam boilers, clattering cogs and gleaming copper pipes, a remarkable guardian stands watch. With a calm, confident gaze, this majestic Maine Coon surveys a world where technology and imagination blend seamlessly. His leather outfit, adorned with mechanical cogs, bronze buckles and a pair of classic aviator sunglasses, hints at a life full of discoveries and daring expeditions. Every scratch on the leather tells a story. Perhaps he once travelled through forgotten cities where enormous timepieces governed the passage of time. Or perhaps he navigated his airship past floating islands, in search of lost inventions and mysterious civilisations. In this world, curiosity is the greatest power and imagination fuels every new adventure.
The warm copper and brown tones lend the piece a nostalgic atmosphere reminiscent of the Victorian era, whilst the detailed finish and the cat’s intense gaze create a contemporary feel. The result is a work of art that resonates with both cat lovers and fans of fantasy, science fiction and steampunk.
The Guardian of Mechanical Time is more than just a portrait. It is an invitation to pause for a moment and let yourself be transported to a universe where mechanics, elegance and adventure converge. An eye-catching piece that arouses curiosity, sparks conversation and fills any space with character, warmth and a touch of mystery.
