Sedge warblers show themselves well while singing. The males climb to the top of a reed stalk and often perform a short singing flight, before descending again like a parachute. With a bit of luck and patience, you can see him fly up from the reed and is just as quickly gone again. Still, he stayed put for a while for me so I could capture him in his favourite spot.
