Along the beach of Playa Bejuca near Esterillos in Costa Rica, I saw this sea snail.
I really liked the colour of it.
When I picked it up, I saw that it still contained a live snail.
But I also already had an idea for a photo in my head.
I wanted the snail in the photo and I wanted it to be sharp and the sand, the waves in the background and the sky to remain blurred.
This became quite a challenge because every time I put the snail on the sand, it started to dig in.
But my patience was eventually rewarded with this photo as the end result.
