About "Rapeseed field in the sun under threatening clouds"

About the artwork

In October, the rapeseed is sown in the fields around our village of Chaugey (FR). Shortly afterwards, small green leaves can already be seen. Depending on the weather, these leaves remain quite small (cold!) or quickly become a lot larger (nice temperature!). The amazing thing is that the rapeseed does not grow any further: all winter, the field remains covered with green leaves.
Until spring when the eruption comes. Then within a week the fields turn from a careful shade of yellow here and there, to a sea of bright yellow.
During this time it can also be quite cloudy. Big, thick, dark clouds then drift above the fields. In this image, clouds and sun fight for precedence. You get very special light. Intense light that makes all the colors extra sharp. This makes the forest at the edges of the field seem like a downy green you could sink into.
In the foreground of this work, and far in the background, you see a green field, which later in the year will become the golden yellow grain.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
