About "Only in the Summer Rain"

About the artwork

In this atmospheric shot, you see a lone tree in an open field, bent by the wind as a summer rain gently descends. The landscape is enveloped in an intense, warm orange glow from the setting sun, which gives the image an almost surreal atmosphere. The rain is subtly visible, like a fine veil over the field, emphasising the stillness and fragility of the moment.

This photo was created during a balmy summer evening, just after a short but fierce rainstorm. The sun broke through just in time to reveal this unique interplay of light, wind and rain. The image is an ode to fleeting moments in nature that often go unnoticed.

The mood is melancholic and powerful at the same time. The sculpture radiates silence, but also a sense of perseverance - the tree standing firm in the elements. For me, this work symbolises a sense of being alone, but not lonely.

Its warm tones and soothing composition make this work perfect for an interior where nature, reflection and simplicity are central.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
