Niles Vandenberg is the drummer for Kensington.
Kensington formed in 2005, after the school band 'Quad' broke up, as guitarist Luuk Verink left the band,[1] singer-guitarist Casper Starreveld, bassist Jan Haker and drummer Lucas Lenselink decided to continue as Kensington together with new guitarist Eloi Youssef.
A new drummer was found in the person of Niles Vandenberg, who previously played drums with the Noordwijk band Griffin. During the Stuck in a Day Festival on February 16, 2008, he literally took over the baton from Lucas. About this change, singer-guitarist Casper Starreveld said: "We were looking for someone who would make us better as a band and who shares our ambitions. Niles exceeded our expectations and with his national and international touring experience he is a great asset to Kensington".
The ultimate dream? One day to release a photo book entitled "Drummers Solo. A coffee table book with lots of pictures of drummers and little text.
