About "New York City"

About the artwork

New York City, for me though one of my favourite cities in America. I had to go to this city for work and of course my photo equipment always goes with me. After arriving in Manhattan, I headed straight for the Empire State Building. Now I had been here before but that was in 2017. Now, now seven years later, it was time again to go to the 86th floor of this imposing building.

Now I knew you are not allowed to use a tripod here but I was well prepared for that. In my rucksack I had a metal plate on which I could attach my ball head. I could place this on the walls of the fence so I could take photos with slower shutter speeds. This allowed me to keep the iso value low and not suffer from motion blur. The result is therefore a sharp photo with no noise. In this shot, the Statue of Liberty can then also be clearly seen.

After spending a few hours photographing here, I was able to head for my hotel, tired but satisfied.

Finally, I work on all the images I make at home because there I have a powerful PC and the necessary software to make this shot suitable for your wall.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
