About "Living Portrait of Flowers"

About the artwork

In this work, the boundary between painting and reality deliberately plays a game with your eyes. The bouquet first looks like a classic still life in oil, but the flowers soon lose their flat shape and grow forward, as if fleeing the canvas. You see soft pastel roses, delicate daisies and golden yellow sunbeams of dahlias bending forward in a lush wave. On the table are loose leaves and flowers, almost carelessly left behind, as if someone has just touched up the arrangement. These small details make this work vibrant and human.

The inspiration comes from the old masters who centuries ago tried to capture the transience of beauty. I wanted to break that tradition by making the still life actually alive. The technique is a mix of painterly textures and hyper-realistic depth, making you almost feel you can touch the flower calyxes.

The atmosphere is light and open, as if nature takes a gentle step inside. The work is meant to bring warmth, a small feast of colour and movement that lets an interior breathe. It invites you to contemplate the moments when beauty steps outside its frame and walks into the room.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
