This digital still life focuses on a glass vase in which the stems visibly run through the water. It is a subtle detail that gives the work its own character: clear, open and almost tangible. Above the vase unfolds a rich bouquet of dahlias and bulbous flowers in shades of white, soft pink, coral, burgundy and orange-red. The round flower heads add a playful rhythm, while a few loose petals and fallen flowers on the table top add a soft, human imperfection.
For this work, I was inspired by the structure of classic flower still lifes, but I wanted to bring a more lively dynamic to it. Whereas some works in the series show more stillness, this bouquet exudes energy. The flowers seem to push, twist and follow each other like a choreography of colour. The dark background emphasises the warm tones and makes the shapes appear almost sculptural.
The work was created using artificial intelligence, blending classical painting techniques and modern digital textures. For me, this still life symbolises a celebration of vitality and colour. In an interior, it brings a warm, cheerful and inviting accent all year round.
