I took this photo in the Harderbroek in the municipality of Zeewolde, this nature reserve is located near Harderwijk. When I took this photo I was sitting in a bird-watching hut along a lake, I did not expect to see this fox but rather waterbirds. This fox was walking on a stretch where they had cut the reeds. I did feel lucky to have a 55-300mm telephoto lens on my camera. You rarely see a fox walking during the day making this fox an exception, I did have enough light for this photo. Probably this fox was hunting for a mouse or something similar.
