About ‘Inner Strength’ by Olga Talsma

This powerful and multi-layered painting depicts feminine strength, freedom and a connection with nature. The woman stands with her arms raised, as if she is fully occupying her space and opening herself up to light, energy and freedom. Her silhouette merges with organic structures, leaves and transparent layers of paint, so that human and nature become almost one.

The work is built up from many layers of paint, subtle textures, botanical prints and intuitive lines. Soft earth tones are combined with fresh blues, green accents and weathered nuances that create a calm, dreamy atmosphere. The rich layering means that new details are constantly revealed, giving the painting a vibrant depth.

During the painting process, I allow feeling, movement and material to come together. This creates an organic image that not only depicts a figure, but above all evokes a sense of balance, growth and inner strength.

This artwork brings tranquillity, softness and character to an interior. The light colours and refined details make the work particularly suitable for modern living spaces where art is allowed to add atmosphere, warmth and meaning. A painting for lovers of expressive art with a poetic and natural feel.

Olga Talsma, born and raised on Schiermonnikoog, where she used to ride horses across the beach and dunes, now lives in Drenthe, where nature is a major source of inspiration. She creates powerful portraits of women in which elegance, strength and freedom take centre stage – the very qualities she recognises in the horse as a metaphor.

Originally trained as a graphic designer, Olga chose to devote herself entirely to traditional painting, where she found her own…

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
