With the paintings in my Silhouette series, my painting style is less realistic and more abstract. It is all about simplicity and contrast. The shape is recognisable without me detailing it.
This stimulates my, but hopefully also your imagination. The loose use of paint and the tight silhouette reinforce each other. Much more can be found in a silhouette, it's like looking at clouds: It's in the eye of the beholder.
Innocent is painted with oil and metallic paint over a crackled ground.
