The neighbouring garden was co-designed by Goethe himself and reflects his scientific and creative interests. This combination of nature, history and personal expression was the starting point for this painting.
I wanted to create an atmosphere that radiates calm and concentration - a place that makes an impact not through drama, but through its quiet presence. The picture invites the viewer to focus on the details and discover the balance between nature and architecture.
