About the artwork

The picture shows a well-tended garden path that leads past Goethe's garden house in the park on the Ilm in Weimar. The historic building with its white façade and steep roof is surrounded by lush greenery and old trees. The scene appears calm and balanced, supported by the soft light of a partly cloudy summer's day.

Goethe's garden house is a central monument to Weimar Classicism. It was not only a residence, but also a retreat and source of inspiration for Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. The neighbouring garden was co-designed by Goethe himself and reflects his scientific and creative interests. This combination of nature, history and personal expression was the starting point for this painting.

I wanted to create an atmosphere that radiates calm and concentration - a place that makes an impact not through drama, but through its quiet presence. The picture invites the viewer to focus on the details and discover the balance between nature and architecture.

In an interior, this work brings a cultivated, natural atmosphere to the room. It is particularly suitable for places that invite you to slow down and reflect - whether in a private living space or in a working environment with cultural aspirations.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
