About "Detail of abstract glass patterns from postmodern architecture in Berlin"

About the artwork

The artwork shows a section of the glass façade of the Futurium in Berlin. The photograph focuses on the geometric structure of the façade, consisting of diamond and triangular glass elements. The reflection of the light creates vivid colour nuances in green, yellow and blue, which overlap with shadows and reflections. Small, circular ceiling lights in the interior complement the visual grid and lend the image additional depth.

The inspiration for this work was the question of how the future can be expressed in architectural form. With its clear, technical design, the Futurium as a place for questions about the future offers an ideal basis for a visual exploration of order, change and perception. I was particularly interested in the interplay of structure, light and colour in an otherwise functional context.

With this picture, I want to create a calm yet dynamic atmosphere. It invites reflection on design, perspective and the relationship between technology and aesthetics.

In interior design, this work acts as a modern, colourfully restrained accent. It is particularly suitable for minimalist or architectural room concepts and brings a clear, structuring effect to living or working areas - without being dominant, but with a precise presence.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
