For some people, this flower is a piece of weed and disfigures the lawn, others see more the importance of insects, as they love it. I myself, am ambivalent about it, it doesn't need to be in my lawn for me, but at its edge it's ok. But yes, sometimes you just have to accept that they are there and make use of them. On a beautiful sunny day I took this picture of it, the fluff was nicely captured by the sun and it looked like little stars, exploding stars. It also looks a bit like decorative fireworks.
I think it turned out to be a nice abstract photo, a core of glowing stars on a black surface.
Until my retirement, technical photography was an important and very fun part of my job, the work I did for about 45 years. Taking, editing and sharing photos with others was a very nice part of my job, which is why I want to continue.. Read more…
