Spring flower in backlight, true spring colours, tentative as the harbinger of summer. The clematis is a beautiful flower, blooming benevolently in my garden and with backlighting it produces the most beautiful pastel colours imaginable. the flower clusters are beautiful to see, I enjoy them but certainly also the large number of bees and other insects attracted to the flowers.
By photographing with backlighting you see through the flower, the colours become softer, pastel, but are not lost. Teven a white background produces a beautiful soft play of colours.
Until my retirement, technical photography was an important and very fun part of my job, the work I did for about 45 years. Taking, editing and sharing photos with others was a very nice part of my job, which is why I want to continue.. Read more…
