This wild hamster is nibbling on a found seed. It is a very nice sight to see this cute rodent nibbling less than three metres from my lens. The wild hamster, also known as a corncrake, is an endangered species found in the Netherlands only in southern Limburg. In Vienna, these rodents fare better, especially in a cemetery.
Funnily enough, these hamsters have managed to adapt to cemeteries by eating candle wax.
