My name is Jasper Kok, I am 18 years old and have been passionate about nature photography since I was 11 years old. What started as a simple curiosity about the nature around me soon grew into a real passion.
From a young age, I spent countless hours outdoors, armed with my camera and a large dose of patience. My preference is birds: their behaviour, their singing, everything about these animals fascinates me.
For me, nature photography is not just about technique or perfect sharpness. It is about approaching animals with respect, timing, light and, above all, patience. Some photos require hours, days, or even years of preparation. But the reward is great: a unique insight into the lives of wild animals.
My images are meant to evoke wonder, to take people into the peace and beauty of our nature. Because precisely in a world that is spinning faster and faster, I believe there is power in standing still, watching and appreciating.
