About the artwork

The artist sees this in the motif:

A dark apparition sits impassively on a bridge-like crossing and lets its feet dangle. The figure obviously does not want to walk through the gate, does not want to begin the next chapter of its journey. It is peaceful. No one is on the run.
The blurred stars in the firmament radiate peace and light onto the scene. The figure seems unable to act. She cannot take her fate into her own hands. The right hand is missing!
The left hand is close to the body and seems just as useless. If it weren't for this peace, there would still be the feet with which one could walk. As this motif is clearly in motion, I firmly assume that the figure will find her will to act again and leave this gate behind her! Surely she's just enjoying the atmosphere.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
