Subject: young family
Inspiration: Ma-art-je's inspiration for this creation comes from her own pregnancies and her job in healthcare. She is a mother of two daughters and works part-time in a maternity ward in a hospital.
Materials used: black ink and watercolour paint. The original was made on 250 g/m2 acid-free paper and is A4 size.
Technique: Ma-art-je 's own method with black ink and watercolour. She likes organic shapes and simple use of colour. She only lets the watercolour paint flow inside the shape. It is surrounded by a white line and the black ink.
This works very well in a quiet space, such as a baby's room, where it gives one a serene feeling.
