Nature in Norway offers not only beautiful autumn colours in trees and shrubs, but also low to the ground it is a feast of colours. I zoomed in on that with this close-up, an unbelievable splash of colour and in some places as far as the eye can see. Especially the white reindeer moss is abundant but in other places it is a mix of various species such as the Arctic Bearberry, a groundcovering plant that is especially striking in autumn due to the intense red colour of its leaves.
