About the artwork
Liège-Guillemins station is a great place for photography. Especially with sunny weather in the early morning. For example, in June 2022, I was on my way from Brussels to Luxembourg and had a short change at Liege station.
When I'm here, I always take a stroll around with my camera, looking for great scenery. This spot, just outside the station, at the front, always catches my attention. It's a gallery by the supermarket and by the bike shed.
At the moment of photographing, my attention was particularly caught by the geometric shapes in the image, which almost exude a mathematical perfection. And in the center of the image, a bicycle also entered the image, ready to enter the bicycle parking lot.
Furthermore, it is also a very beautiful light with long shadows. If you look to the left, you can even see reflections of the light on the columns!
