The large kudu (Tragelaphus strepsiceros) is a large antelope from eastern and southern Africa. It is one of the two species called 'kudu' and belongs to the genus Tragelaphus (screw horned antelope). Sometimes he is placed together with the little kudu in a separate (sub)genus, Strepsiceros.
