When it storms, many people stay home. We then often go to the coast. First to get some fresh air and then to take pictures.
This photo was taken after a summer storm. The wind speed had passed its peak. You could just stand up again. And above all, we no longer had to deal with splashing water that could get on the lens.
We found the movement in the water in the foreground very nice to capture. Every wave is different. We therefore took several photos.
The photo is full of dynamics. Because of the slow shutter speed, the foreground looks a bit calmer and the sky looks powerful.
From a young age, I have loved being outdoors. At any time of the day and at any time of the year. My first experiences with photography date back to the analogue era. With the arrival of the digital camera the possibilities and my interest in photography increased.
