Leaves of trees are fascinating!
It is beautiful to see what trees look like through all seasons. In spring, new leaves appear in fresh green. In summer, trees are in full leaf and the colour of the leaves is already slightly less bright green. In autumn, the beautiful autumn colours of yellow, orange and red appear. And even in winter, trees are still beautiful: you can see the silhouette of the tree and its shape is clearly visible then. A bare old tree then looks very imposing and powerful!
When the trees have dropped their autumn leaves, this is often a beautiful photography moment too. All those warmly coloured leaves are an inspiration to create a beautiful work of art with them.
For this photo, I used the leaf of a common Maple (Acer Pseudoplatanus).
The autumn leaves of this tree still nicely show different shades of nature: there is still some green present and the autumn colours yellow and orange are also already appearing.
The leaf was photographed twice with different lighting. Both photos were merged into this natural work of art. The effect is as if the top leaf is floating above the bottom leaf. Or as if the top leaf casts a shadow on the ground.
All in all, a beautiful calming and natural artwork for your wall!

I see making art as a creative process.
The starting point of this process for me is always a photo or a painting of my own. Every work of art on this site is therefore based on a self-made photo or painting.
I find my sources of inspiration in everything around me...
