I took this photo on a cold January morning, just before sunrise.
Through the weather reports, I had heard that there would be little to no wind that morning.
And it was in my head to take another sunrise photo at this location, this because of the wide view you have over the water.
With flat water, the sunrise would have a nice reflection in the water.
I thought.
So when I arrived there 'early in the morning, there turned out to be a band of clouds on the horizon that the rising sun would therefore be just behind.
But before the sun rose, the sky was also very nicely coloured, with all the condensation trails of aircraft in it.
Its reflection on the flat water also gave a nice spectacle.
That, together with the lake poles in a nice line and their reflection in the still water, ensured that I had not gone to that spot for nothing.
