Hoek tot Helder is an event for kitesurfers in which they cover 130 kilometres, from Hoek van Holland to Den Helder, in one day.
With this event, they raise money for the Heart Foundation.
It is mighty to witness this from the beach.
Seeing so many kitesurfers passing by almost simultaneously is magnificent.
And, of course, also very nice to take pictures of it.
Personally, I think this was one of the best photos I took that day.
It beautifully shows the massiveness, so many kitesurfers together you rarely see.
But also the violence of the sea, the waves they have to contend with throughout the trip.
I have respect for all the participants.
