This is a photo of an African Eagle Owl that I have edited considerably to make it more of an art photo. The photo is in black and white but the naturally yellow eyes have been slightly enhanced in terms of brightness. The African Eagle Owl is smaller than the European Eagle Owl but is a very characteristic owl. It is found in southern Africa, and this picture was taken at a falconer's house. Who takes very good care of his birds of prey and they also get plenty of time to fly around.
The image was created because I was standing behind the falconer with my camera and so part of the picture was covered by his coat. This gave a blurred effect from the bottom right which was half over the owl.
This photo fits well in an interior with lots of black details. I would hang the photo on a white wall and in a dark corner.
The photo is of an African Eagle Owl so people who have ever been to Africa may have a connection to this.
