About the artwork

This is a panoramic image, excellent for wide walls. The source of this image is from the Land Registry's aerial photo dataset of the year 2017. It is a collage of Aerial photos that have been stitiched and post-processed in photoshop. As a result, it has a very high resolution and individual buildings are well visible.

With an area of 268.5 square kilometres, Ameland is the second smallest wadden island after Schiermonnikoog. But with its 3,600 inhabitants, it does have many more people than Vlieland. Ameland is known for its vast beaches, bird sanctuaries and its four picturesque villages. Hollum is the largest town on the island and is home to the airport and many amenities, such as shops, restaurants and accommodation. It is also the location of the Amelander Museum, where visitors can learn about the island's history and the culture of its inhabitants. Nes is a smaller village known for its beautiful beaches and dunes. Here, visitors can enjoy nature and the sea. Nes is also the location of the Wadden Sea National Park, where visitors can learn about the unique nature of the Wadden area. Buren is a small village best known for its historical buildings, such as the church and the old town hall. Here, visitors can experience a piece of the island's history. Ballum is a small village that has a peaceful atmosphere and is mainly known for its bird sanctuaries. Here visitors can admire various species of birds.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
