I took this photo of Harderwijk's Vischpoort when it was nice sunny weather, even though it was nice sunny weather it was still winter when I took this photo. I was standing on the Vischmarkt side of the gate myself, personally I think it is the prettiest side of the Vischpoort. In one of the arches in the city wall on the right side of the gate is a statue of a couple in love. The water pump that you see is not as old as you think, it was put down in the 21st century and is simply connected to the water supply with drinking water. Fish and trade that crossed the Zuiderzee used to enter the city through this gate. The most distinctive feature of Harderwijk's Vischpoort is the little lighthouse on the gateway that warns shipping on the Zuiderzee. This photo is an HDR photo that consists of 3 photos with different, I merged the 3 photos into 1 HDR photo afterwards as you can see. I also put my camera on my tripod so the 3 photos for this HDR have exactly the same composition.
