I was walking along the Steinhorst Basin, my faithful companion - my camera - always at the ready. The path meandered through nature, the air was fresh, the light bathed the landscape in warm golden tones. Everything was calm. Until my gaze suddenly wandered upwards... and there it sat. A small, red creature, framed by branches and sunlight, as if nature had created this spot just for this moment.
?️? A squirrel. Completely relaxed, almost as if it were waiting for me. Its large, attentive eyes fixed on me, its fluffy fur shimmering in the soft light. In moments like these, I feel a deep connection with nature - as if it were giving me a gift. A gift that cannot be planned, that is not staged. It just happens. And these are precisely the magical moments that I want to capture with my camera. ✨
