Sometimes nature doesn't take you where you want to go - but where you belong. ✨♥️
I was looking for an owl. I had imagined spotting it, peering out of a hole in a tree with its big, wise eyes. But nature had other plans for me. There was no owl to be seen. Instead, this little robin suddenly appeared in front of me. It was sitting not far away, completely relaxed, as if it had just been waiting to meet me.
And it was precisely at that moment that I realised again why I love nature photography so much. It's not about following a strict plan or always getting what you're looking for. It's about the wonder, the unexpected, the magical moments that you can't predict. This robin may have been just a tiny dot in the landscape - but for me, at that moment, it was everything.
It looked straight at me, almost as if to say: "Look at me. I am here. I count too." And it was right. Every life in nature, no matter how small, deserves our attention, our appreciation.
Perhaps that was my real lesson that day: not just to look out for the "big" moments, but to recognise the small wonders that are right in front of me. Maybe I didn't find the owl - but maybe this robin found me.
Do you know that feeling? That nature sometimes gives you exactly what you need at that moment, even if you weren't looking for it? Tell me about your experiences - I look forward to hearing your stories!
