I took this photo at Staverden Estate in the Veluwe near Ermelo. Staverden is the smallest town in the Netherlands even though it does not look like a town. As you can see, it was autumn when I took this photo. The water in this pond comes from the mill stream and is drained through the moat of Staverden Castle. For this photo, I chose to keep the shutter speed slower to make the water surface smooth, you also get more reflections in the water. On Staverden estate, there are mainly deciduous trees, so autumn colours can be seen in autumn. I just don't know what kind of deciduous trees are on the estate. For this photo, I used a tripod to avoid motion blur, I even used a remote control for this.
