I took this photo on the Beekhuizerzand near Harderwijk on the Veluwe, the Beekhuizerzand is a sand drift that you see more often on the Veluwe. The tree you see is a dead Scots pine standing on a high dune, this dune is so high that it also has a viewpoint. When I took this photo it was beautiful sunny weather even though it was late February, so you can see the blue sky in the background. This photo is an HDR photo consisting of 5 photos with different exposures that I merged afterwards. I also used a tripod to make sure the photos for this HDR have the same composition. I did choose to use a low viewpoint.
