The mundane in unusual ways. A view through fogged-up glass, blurred image of a person next to a car, a moment of coming home or leaving. and being watched. The image seems to be captured in slow motion, conveying an atmosphere both abstract and picturesque. As if in visual poetry.
My aim is to photograph the world around me and show it in an expressionistic way. Black and white, grainy textures, motion blur, haze, drops or smudges on the lens. Photographing from a feeling, where I intuitively release the shutter to create an interplay of shadow, shape and light. It is my technique to show how beautiful, interesting, wonderful the world can be when you look at it in a different way.
A strongly atmospheric dream world is perceptible in this work, a world that speaks the language of the subconscious, with which I hope to cast a little spell on the viewer.
